Part of event series
The Esports hobby will include learning about the world of esports under the guidance of a coach in Heimo’s brand new game space at Otahalli. The hobby will allow you to develop your skills in a fun group and help you find new gaming friends. The sessions will include playing as a team, competitions, game analysis and learning about the daily life of a professional esports player. We will examine different games extensive based on the participants’ wishes. You don’t need any prior skills; we’ll all learn together in the group.
The Espoo Esports Hobby Path Project offers free e-after-school sports activities for lower secondary school pupils. The hobby groups generally meet at schools, in the vicinity of schools, or online. Registration for the hobbies will open on Monday 6 October, and places in groups will be filled in the order of registration. The project models the Esports Hobby Path by offering young people short-term esports hobbies in autumn 2025 and spring 2026. The principles of a safer space are applied in the hobby groups.
