The Dark Side Of The Moo Tour is coming to Espoo!

The Finnish bluegrass/pop rock band Steve 'n' Seagulls released its fifth studio album The Dark Side of The Moo on 3 October 2025 via Playground.

The Dark Side of The Moo, which took the band five years to produce, is a refined version of bluegrass, or "newgrass". The band’s musical influences consist of unpredictable and unexpected congruences, which somehow click like old fishing buddies. The album includes both the band’s own pop rock-influenced compositions and its interpretations of rock and metal songs which have become classics over the decades. The album was produced by Timo Kämäräinen.

The band makes a decisive move into the realm of pop rock with its album single, People Just Need To Love You, which was composed by the band itself.

Formed in 2010, Steve 'n' Seagulls came from their idea to brew a blend of metal, folk and rock music through a bluegrass filter. Since that time, the band with some 346 million YouTube views has achieved a unique position as a band whose American sound is combined with Finnishness through both cover tunes and its own, home-grown repertoire. Released in 2014, the band’s Thunderstruck video instantly made them a sensation, after which they have recorded as many as five studio albums and toured extensively in Europe and North America, both as headliners and at festivals in more than 30 countries.

Steve 'n' Seagulls is the first and so far the only band in Finnish history that has risen to the top of the Billboard Bluegrass list in the United States.
