Author Sanna Aaltonen, originally from Kainuu and now living in Espoo, works in the pharmaceutical industry. Her debut novel Louhikurun kutsu (Gummerus 2025) was born from a longing for forests and lakes during her years abroad. The story combines an earthy love tale with a strong message about the environmental impact of mining.

She is interviewed by active book influencer Iiris Lehtinen (@iirislovesbooks).
