In this hour-long conversation on Espoo Day, veteran journalist and TV personality Arto Nyberg interviews the Espoo-based band Children of Bodom in Tapiolasali! In this intimate event, Nyberg talks with band members Henkka Seppälä, Jaska Raatikainen, and Janne Wirman.

Children of Bodom is one of Finland’s most internationally successful and influential bands. The group created a completely unique subgenre within metal music, and its guitarist and founder Alexi Laiho was repeatedly named the world’s best metal guitarist, while keyboardist Janne Wirman was similarly recognized as the best in his field.

The extraordinarily talented band rose from Espoo to global fame over a span of 25 years. They have performed on the biggest international stages, released 10 studio albums with millions of copies sold, won three Emma Awards, and earned numerous gold and platinum records.

A book about the band, written by Timo Isoaho, will be released on August 28.
