The City of Espoo and RD Physics Oy are organizing a free bike repair workshop at Matinkylä metro station.

In the workshop, you’ll learn hands-on skills to take care of your bike – such as fixing a flat tire, adjusting gears, and lubricating the chain. The aim is to make bike maintenance easy and fun, lower the threshold for starting to cycle, and promote sustainable mobility.

Come and service your own bike under the guidance of a professional – no previous experience is required, just bring your own bike and an open mind!

Matinkylä is the second stop – repair workshops will also be held in Leppävaara from June 11 to 13 and at Keran Hallit on June 14. Follow the City of Espoo’s communications for more information. The bike repair workshops are part of the "Sustainable Future districts" pilot program, which develops and tests innovative solutions to the city’s sustainability challenges.
