You are warmly invited to learn about and discuss the Tiilismäenrinne detailed plan with its planners.

A residents’ event will be held for all interested parties on 10 April 2025, from 17.00 to 19.00, in the canteen of the Mainingin koulu comprehensive school, located at Maininkitie 23.

The event will begin with an information session about the amended detailed plan. After this, attendees can visit different discussion points to discuss the detailed plan with the planners. At the residents’ event, you will meet Regional Architect Mervi Hokkanen and the persons responsible for preparing of the plan: Architect Lauri Kolttola, Planning Engineer Kaisa Lahti from Traffic Planning and Landscape Architect Anja Karhula. Mervi Romppanen, Project Coordinator for Public Engagement, will also be present. The event will be chaired by Isto Havu from the City Planning Committee.

The event is open to all interested parties, No pre-registration is required. We look forward to seeing you there!

What is this about?

The plan area is located in the southern part of Kiviruukki in the area between the streets Ruukintie and Tiilismäki. The amendment to the detailed plan will enable urban housing, a daycare centre, business premises and parking facilities. The amended detailed plan will also secure the preservation of the habitat of the flying squirrel and ecological connections.

The plan proposal will be available for public review on the plan web page from 31 March to 29 April 2025.
