In the Pop Singing Workshop, you get to sing beloved pop songs and practise singing into a microphone in groups of 6–10 people. You will also learn about different ways of using your voice, performing and possibly also making your own songs. Together with the group and the teacher, you get to influence the content of the lessons and how they work.

Registration for hobby groups will start on 29 August. The hobby groups will start in week 38 on Monday, 16 September 2024 onwards. The hobby will continue throughout the school year unless otherwise stated. The hobby groups will not meet during school holidays. The hobbies are free-of-charge to the participants. The City of Espoo has insured the participants of the hobby groups.

The organiser of the hobby group contacts the guardians about the practical aspects of the activity. Please contact the organiser of the activity if you want to cancel your child’s participation or ask more about the activity.

The Espoo Hobby Path offers free hobbies according to children’s and young people’s wishes. The activities are for pupils attending grades 3–9 and take place after the school day at the school, in its vicinity or via a remote connection. The Espoo Hobby Path implements the national Finnish Model for Leisure Activities in Espoo.
