Born and raised in Espoo, the luminous songwriter and soulful interpreter Ninni Poijärvi will celebrate her 50th birthday in Sello Hall, a venue she is so familiar with. It will also be an album release celebration: Ninni is simultaneously releasing a set of no less than four new albums, and the rich musical worlds of the new compositions can be heard in this unique two-part concert.

Ninni Poijärvi began composing orchestral music during the COVID-19 pandemic, and these compositions will open the concert with a string orchestra and harps conducted by Tapio von Boehm. After the intermission, Ninni's delicate Finnish-language solo material from the world of rhythm music will be performed, accompanied on stage by a band of top musicians.
