Modern pop A-lister KUUMAA has become one of the most interesting pop bands in Finland in just a few years. The band consisiting of Johannes Brotherus, Jonttu Luhtavaara and Aarni Soivio charm audiences with straight-forward energy through their music and in live shows. The band is best known for big, recognisable melodies, catchy lyrics and luminous live energy.

The most recent singles of the super-popular KUUMAA have taken up spots in the charts in streaming services and on the radio. ”Oo vielä sekunnin mun” and ”Tulipalo” both sold platinum; At the end of 2022, “Tulipalo” was the most played song in the Finnish radio and won the Radio Hit of the Month award in January 2023.
The band took part in the Contest for New Music UMK in the spring with their hit song “Ylivoimainen”.
