Poetry Cat Roosa and the Lost Rhymes is a story-based poetry performance for children. Poetry Cat Roosa needs help for finding the rhymes she has lost. But what is a rhyme? And what is a poem? How are rhymes related to poems or are they even related? What kinds of things can be told through a poem? Can anyone write a poem?

The performance is about finding different types of poetry and going on an adventure in the world of word art and metaphors. The performance is interactive; the children get to try writing and performing different types of poems with the guidance of the Poetry Cat. This creates an understanding of what rhymes, haikus and raps are.

Duration 50 minutes.

Free of charge for the KULPS groups of pre-schoolers–3rd graders in Espoo schools as an ‘once a term’ visit of the KULPS culture path. Registration using the registration form.
