So have we!‘Podium’ is a musical stage performance and an examination of conductors. ‘Podium’ considers the genius myths, hero stories, boy-like wonder and musical masturbation.‘Podium’ asks, dismantles and ponders. Does the music business require conductors to put on show performances? Can anyone, regardless of their gender and ethnic background, have a successful career as a conductor? Do the music and musicians serve the conductor or does the conductor serve the music and musicians?What does music want?
