Espoo's Cultural Environment Programme
The aim of the programme is to increase cooperation between city residents and the city’s experts, to encourage city residents to cherish their local environment independently, from the point of view of both the natural environment and the cultural environment, and also to facilitate cooperation between cultural environment authorities.

The programme was created as a multidisciplinary cooperation project between the cultural environment authorities and experts of the City of Espoo in order to increase awareness on the cultural environment of Espoo. The programme was led by the KAMU Espoo City Museum.
The cultural environment programme makes it possible to increase the appreciation of the cultural environment, enhance local identity and share information on Espoo’s cultural environments.
In the cultural environment programme, attention has been paid to accessing and sharing information and to strengthening cooperation among residents and between residents and authorities.
