E-sports

Leppävaaran lukio upper secondary school’s e-sports students study on the general line.

Selected students participate in customised e-sports coaching. The e-sports study entity consists of sport-specific coaching (EVA) and physical coaching (up to 30 credits in total). Sport-specific coaching is carried out as morning coaching.

Applications for e-sports are submitted during the 1st period. Admission is based on an interview.
E-sports is not available as a separate line in the joint application system.

E-sports studies include game coaching organised by a professional coach in Counter-Strike, which emphasises the development of both individual skills and teamwork. The coach participates in the teams’ activities on a weekly basis. E-sports students are also given their personal coaching programmes for independent training.

Omnia has its own CS e-sport team – Omnia AllStars. Goal-oriented athletes can complete an official degree at SportOmnia - Sport Educational Institution.(external link)
