Jupperi school

The Jupperi primary school (Jupperin koulu) has about 500 pupils in grades 1–6. Our school utilises pupil-oriented pedagogy and flexible teaching groups. Pupil participation is considered important and our pupils are provided with many different participation and influencing opportunities concerning both their own actions and the operations of the entire school.

Our school is involved in the Eco-Schools programme, which means that the ideas and practices of sustainable development are part of our everyday life. Our school provides concrete examples of encountering children and recognising the importance of pupils and learning.
