Espoo sector for Growth and Learning offers high-quality, diverse and regionally equal development and educational opportunities. The city's education services comprise early childhood education and care, pre-primary education, basic education and general upper secondary education.
Many day care centres and schools in Espoo welcome international visitors. Find an interesting daycare centre or school, educational topics and your preferred language of presentation from our variety of schools and day care centres.
Visiting fees and invoicing
Our educational units may charge a maximum visiting fee of
- EUR 400 for a half-day visit
- EUR 800 for a one-day visit
- If the visiting group dines at the school, an additional EUR 7.20/person may be charged for the meal. In addition, EUR 2.30/person can be charged for tea/coffee.
The City of Espoo will invoice you after the visit. Unfortunately we cannot accept cash payments. VAT 25,5 % will be added to all visiting fees and catering costs.
How to book a visit
Look for day care centres and schools welcoming international visitors here. Find a unit and a topic that interests you and send your request by e-mail to the listed contact person, preferably 30 days in advance.
Please inform the contact person about:
- preferred date and content of the visit
- preferred language of presentation
- group size (please consult with the visiting venue, group size restrictions might apply)
- your organisation and professional background of your group.
Please consider that Finnish schools and daycare centres are popular visiting venues and they are therefor unfortunately not able to accommodate all requests.
