Promoting Culture & Partnerships

For visit requests, please contact:

Partnerships and Promoting Culture is a team of experts in cultural services that promotes accessible culture for all ages and supports cultural activities in Espoo. The team has expertise in areas such as the legislation behind the municipality's cultural activities, cross-sectoral service development, cultural grants and partnerships.

Culture Education

Espoo has several unique models for culture and sports education. The KULPS culture and sports paths for schoolchildren and Culture Call for early childhood education promote free access to cultural and sports services for Espoo's children. The Hobby Path, which implements the Finnish Model for Leisure Activities, and cooperation with basic art education institutions also increase the variety of hobbies available to children and young people outside school hours. Children and young people have a say in the content of services.

Visiting Libraries

Libraries are meeting places and cultural centres, open to everyone. They offer newspapers, magazines, books, music, films and other materials that you can enjoy at the library or borrow and take home with you. Libraries have spaces where you can study, take part in recreational activities or just spend some time. Libraries also provide information and guidance services and arrange events and exhibitions.
