Business and Competitiveness Subcommittee's duties

Business and Competitiveness Subcommittee

1) submits motions to the City Board on the principles of the policies of business, competitiveness, education and promoting integration of immigrants,
2) decides on matters of vocational training, higher education and adult education in accordance with principles approved by the City Board,
3) steers the development of districts designated by the City Board,
4) decides on the principles of city marketing,
5) submits motions to the city board on the principles of  business policy and competitiveness as written in the strategy, the Story of Espoo,
6)  decides on reservation, sales, exchange or letting of plots for work and residential premises in accordance with principles approved by the City Board, if jurisdiction is not delegated to the Administration and Development Director of Technical and Environment Services.
