Summer Stage

Aurora’s summer stage once again boasts an immersive music programme in June–July. Aurora organises summer stage gigs that are free of charge and open to everyone. They will be held on Thursday evenings from 12 June to 10 July.

Summer stage concerts on Thursdays from 12 June to 10 July:

Thu 12.6. at 10  & at 18  | Sukkalukko album release concert | outdoor stage
The lyrics of the album are inspired by the lives of families with children; yard games, laundry, friends, flu bugs and even socks! For parents, the songs provide peer support in the midst of a hectic family life.

Thu 19.6. at 18 | Children’s music band Leimu | outdoor stage
In this inclusive concert for the whole family, a hot air balloon rides around the world to get to know different animals and their skills. We will marvel at the talented animals of the savannah, sneak into a jungle, encounter a polar bear in the North Pole, dive underwater…

Thu 26.6. at 18 | Mimi & Kuku | outdoor stage
In Mimi and Kuku’s physically active and entertaining performance, children experience the joy of success and discovery! Each child can be the hero of the show in their own way. The performance has a cheerfully fast-paced atmosphere, a lot of dancing, assignments, puppet theatre and magic tricks.

Thu 3.7. at 18 | Päistikka-duo | outdoor stage
The joyous concert of the Päistikka duo, 2024 winners of the Children’s Music Artist of the Year Award, leads the audience on a wild adventure in an imaginary world. Who is making noise underground? What happens when the floor is lava?

Thu 10.7. at 18 | Ville Karttunen | outdoor stage
Ville Karttunen is a children’s music artist and storyteller who has made children’s music for over 20 years. The performance has calmer moments when the audience can focus on listening to the quietest sounds in the world.

The summer stage concerts have free admission.
We reserve the right to make changes.

Summer stage concerts are held if the weather permits.  Please note that there is no covered auditorium. Please dress for the weather.
