Mastering digital skills – libraries as a source of support in a changing world

1.6.2026 11.48

In line with Espoo City Library’s strategy, we take the development of the digital world and its opportunities into account in our services. Digital support is provided both directly at the library upon request and at separately organized events. Digital support is available at every library.

Digital support is free of charge and open to everyone. We encourage you to learn and try new things. We help with everyday digital issues, but usernames and passwords are personal. Digital advisors do not make applications, purchases, or bank transfers on your behalf. During the guidance session, the customer remains responsible for their own device and software.

Espoo libraries use the Princh service for printing, photocopying, and scanning. Princh improves data security and allows you to send printouts from your own device at home and scan documents to your own email. Printing and copying cost €0.20 per page. Scanning is free of charge at the library. We are happy to help!

The libraries also have customer computers available for use free of charge. In addition, you can borrow a laptop from the library for use in the library with your library card.

In addition, Enter ry offers free guidance to senior citizens on how to use computers, tablets, and mobile phones. You can book an appointment with Enter ry's peer mentors at the Entressen, Iso Omena, Tapiola, Sello, Viherlaakso, and Lippulaiva libraries.
