Editorial: Espoo is worth celebrating!

Espoo Day has been celebrated at the end of August for several decades. It is a celebration of the sense of community and team spirit in Espoo. The idea of the day is to invite everyone to join in the fun and participate in various activities.
There are plenty of free events, which makes it easy for people to participate.
You can spend the day by attending as many events as possible, or you can just stop for a moment to enjoy the summer and nature. You can make Espoo Day into whatever suits you the best.
As a city, Espoo is incredibly diverse, and so are its residents. The magazine you are reading right now is continuously developing, just like the city, and aims to provide interesting content for the residents of Espoo.
The magazine has a long history as a print publication, but we are increasingly expanding the content to other channels. You can find us on the City of Espoo website and the city’s social media channels.
Find your perfect way to enjoy the city’s vibe and events! More information on Espoo Day events(external link, opens in a new window).
