Announcement: Application periods for sports grants
Application period until 23 October 2026
Young athlete’s grant
The grant is for 15–22-year-old or turning 15–22 during the calendar year athletes from Espoo who are involved in individual or team sports for their success during the year, including at least a Finnish Championship. Only one achievement/your best achievement will be taken into account.
Grant for coach training
The grant is for covering the training expenses of the coaches and instructors of sports clubs in Espoo.
Grant for producing orienteering maps
The grant is for covering the expenses incurred from acquiring and preparing orienteering maps for clubs.
Grant for coach training and young athlete’s grant should primarily be applied for through the online service www.espoo.fi/en-US > sports and nature > sports grants > targeted grants.
Submit your paper applications by Friday, 23 October 2026 at 15:45 at the latest to the City of Espoo Registry Office, P.O. Box 1, 02070 CITY OF ESPOO, or to the city’s Service Points during their opening hours. Printed forms are available in the Service Points. Alternatively, you can fill in and print an application at www.espoo.fi/en-US > sports and nature > sports grants > targeted grants.
