We want to view the world through the lens of curiosity and creativity – playfully and with an open mind. The world expands when we dare to look at familiar things from new perspectives, boldly and without prejudice.

We spark a first love for culture through genuine encounters and meaningful experiences – on children's terms and in their spirit.
Our goal is to ignite this cultural spark by offering high-quality and diverse cultural experiences from across the spectrum of art and culture.

Mini History
Originally serving as the steward’s house, (Tilanhoitajan talo) Meijeri, and elementary school of the Träskända Manor, the block was repurposed by the City of Espoo in 2003 for cultural use, becoming the Art House, initially known as Taidetalo Pikku-Aurora.
In autumn 2018, the entire three-building block was reopened after renovations as the Children’s Cultural Centre Aurora. Today, the Art House hosts art clubs and workshops, while the most recently renovated Dairy building provides a venue for performing arts and celebrations.
Major events such as Vappunen, Kummajaiset, Children’s Independence Day, and Talvipiha fill the entire Children’s Cultural Centre Aurora's block and its courtyards with art.

In the spirit of Aurora Karamzin, who likely built the beautiful courtyard in the 1800s, we continue to do good today through art and joyful encounters.
