Expert groups are welcome to hear more about our sector, which is responsible for master and detailed plans, traffic planning, streets, roads, green spaces, city premises, nature conservation, water protection, environmental control, environmental health care, building permits, cityscape management, and building control. Our sector is also in charge of managing city-owned land, steering housing production, and planning public transport.
We are currently developing new planning solutions, environmentally friendly urban construction, and the diversity of housing production. In recent years, metro and light rail lines have been built in Espoo, and we have been closely involved in the process.
We work hard to improve the customer-friendliness of our solutions and to develop digital planning, the utilisation of data models, information-based management, and permit and customer feedback processes.
