Puolarmaari artificial ice rink
The Puolarmaari artificial ice rink is in the Puolarmaari Recreation Area. The size of the rink is about 60 x 37 metres.
The rink has been divided into two areas, one for skaters using hockey sticks and one for skaters without sticks. The rink has no walls or hockey goals.
The rink can be used free of charge. Skating in the rinks is at your own risk.
Toilet facilities can be found in the Puolarmaari Outdoor Recreation Centre.
Café Pikkukarhu and an ice skate rental service serve the customers at the Puolarmaari Outdoor Recreation Centre. Café Pikkukarhu is open Mon-Fri from 10 am to 9 pm and Sat-Sun from 10 am to 6 pm.
There are parking spots available near the ice rink.

Opening hours
From Monday to Sunday 8 am-9 pm during the season.
The rink has daily maintenance breaks at around 12 noon, at 4 pm and at 7 pm. Skating on the ice is not allowed during maintenance.
Exceptions to opening hours: On 24 December 2023 and 1 January 2024 snow-ploughing only
