Laaksolahti sports park / (3x3 & 5v5) basketball court
Two different forms of the game can be played on the basketball court: the traditional 5-on-5 game with two baskets, and a 3-on-3 game with a single basket in the yellow areas. Both courts were built to official dimensions. Shelden 'dunking' hoops suitable for outdoor use, which have not been previously installed in Finland, were selected for the court.
The basketball court in the Sports Park was built on a Bergo surface, with permeable asphalt underneath it. This structure means that rainwater will drain through the court surface quickly.
The route to the outdoor sports area
There are no accessible parking spaces near the neighbourhood sports area. The nearest parking area is located over 100 m from the place.
The pick-up and drop-off area is located over 200 m from the neighbourhood sports area.

Outdoor sports area
There is one entrance to the neighbourhood sports area. The local sports facility has general lights, but the lighting does not cover every part.
The neighbourhood sports area has one fenced arena and one playing field.
The neighbourhood sports area can be used for playing football, playing basketball, playing floorball, outdoor fitness training equipment.
The route to all activity locations is smooth and sufficiently wide. In most locations, the floor of the location has a significant contrast in shade to the environment.
Football can be played on a fenced arena with a artificial turf surface, which doesn't have a sufficient contrast in shade to its environment. The arena wall is approximately 120 cm high with an openable gate more than 90 cm wide.
