The Glims House Museum has, about 50 meters from the museum, a parking lot. To park there you need a parking permit from the museum shop.

On Glimsintie, there is a 30-minute parking option with a parking disc.

The museum has two accessible parking spaces outside the gate of the museum area, from which it is about 20 meters to the door of the museum area's main building. The places are marked with a traffic sign.

From the parking lot of the Glims Farmstead Museum, there is about 50 meters of flat dirt road to the gate of the museum.

Escort transport (taxi, etc.) can stop in front of the main building in the courtyard of the museum area, or in front of the cafe building in the lower courtyard.

The yard area is grass and dirt road. The entrance path that leads to the lower courtyard of the museum is quite steep. There are gentle ups and downs between the buildings. The other two entrances to the upper courtyard are less steep. In the winter season, snow and ice may make it difficult to move around in the area.

Not all spaces have barrier-free access, as the museum buildings are from the 19th century and have stairs and thresholds. Wheelchairs or prams and strollers can be accessed via a movable ramp to the cabin. An electric wheelchair can only access the hall of the cabin, but it cannot go to other rooms in the building. There are stairs to the main building of the museum area, and there is no barrier-free access there.

There is no induction loop in the area.

There is currently an accessible portable toilet in the museum area.

In the museum area, there is also information about the buildings on the outdoor signs next to each building. You can also get to know the museum using a mobile guide and an online exhibition.
