Haukilahti Upper Secondary School, or Jeda to its students, includes a sports programme where different athletes can practice their skills in a goal-oriented manner while they complete their upper secondary school studies. Fanni Grönlund and Ville Virkkala, both students at the school, share a passion for professional golf as national team-level players. Ville is in his third and Fanni in her fourth year at the school.
Attacker Iiro Hakkarainen from Kiekko-Espoo’s U18 team is a student in Leppävaara General Upper Secondary School’s sports programme and has been playing ice hockey since he was a boy. His goals are high and his plan is to have a career as a professional player.
Maija Koota is a football goalkeeper in HJK and a second-year student in the sports programme at Leppävaara General Upper Secondary School. She combines sport and her studies, aiming to graduate in three years while striving to get as high as possible in football.
