From Tapiola metro station it is about a 10-minute walk to WeeGee. Follow the signs towards Länsituulentie; along the way you will also see signs guiding you to WeeGee.

• Exit A (Länsituuli): Take the stairs up to reach Länsituulentie.
• Exit B (Sammonsilta): You will arrive at Sammonsilta; walk across the bridge to Länsituulentie.

From Länsituulentie, follow the blue and black signposts to WeeGee. The walking distance is approximately one kilometre.

Buses in Espoo via Pohjantie (the bus stop is called WeeGee):

• 111, 113, 548, 549
• 116, 119 (Neighbourhood routes)

The car park Kulttuuriparkki is open every day from 6 am to 11 pm (check-in). The cultural park has 100 parking spaces, with two accessible and 16 electric car spaces. Entrance by foot is from the pedestrian tower, which can be accessed with the registration number of the parked car.

Driving directions to Kultuuriparkki:
When you arrive at Ahertajantie from the roundabout, take the first right into Ahertajankuja (before the building of Museum Leikki and Museum Kruunu). The entrance to Kultuuriparkki is located at the end of the alley on the left.

Parking is supervised by Tapiola Paikoitus Oy(external link, opens in a new window) (in Finnish).

Accessible parking spaces are located in front of the WeeGee house. The car park leads to a slope at the main entrance of WeeGee.

If you’re visiting the exhibition centre by car, you can use the parking garages and lots in Tapiola Centre, just 700 metres from the metro station and bus terminal. Additional parking is available in the area, including on Kaupinkalliontie.

Buses can drop off groups at the WeeGee drop-off point (maximum stop time: 15 minutes). The drop-off point is accessed via Ahertajankuja. If needed, buses can be parked for the duration of the visit at the Metro Arena / Urheilupuisto parking areas, located at Urheilupuistontie 2 and 3.

Items Not Allowed in the Exhibition Spaces
Please leave the following items in the free, lockable lockers in the lobby:

• Water bottles
• Wet or heavy outerwear
• Snacks
  • Snacks can be eaten in the K-level area

Guide and assistance dogs are welcome. Well-behaved pet dogs accustomed to social situations are allowed in the Delicatessen WeeGee restaurant.

• Cameras
  • Photography without flash is allowed for personal use. Professional or commercial photography must be arranged in advance directly with the relevant museum.

I have an item I would like to donate to the museum. Is that possible?
Museums acquire items for their collections according to their own acquisition programs. The WeeGee lobby service does not handle donations, so all donations must be arranged directly with the relevant museum. Donations and acquisitions are always considered on a case-by-case basis.

Is Leikki – the Museum of Play still at WeeGee?
Leikki – the Museum of Play and The Finnish Museum of Horology and Jewellery Kruunu are located in the neighbouring building at Ahertajantie 3. These museums are independent with their own admission tickets, but a WeeGee ticket offers a discount on their regular-priced admission. Learn more here.

What is the difference between WeeGee, EMMA, and KAMU?
WeeGee Exhibition Centre is one of Espoo’s cultural centres. WeeGee hosts the Mauri Kunnas exhibition and the Futuro House, and is responsible for services such as the lobby. KAMU Espoo City Museum is part of Espoo’s cultural services and operates as an independent organization within the WeeGee building. EMMA – Espoo Museum of Modern Art is operated by the EMMA Art Museum Foundation, established in 2002, and functions independently within the WeeGee building.

Where does the name WeeGee come from?
The WeeGee Exhibition Centre was formerly the Weilin & Göös printing house, which is where the name comes from. You can read more about the building’s history and architecture here.
