City of Espoo is selling Villa Rulludd and its outbuildings with a leasehold right

Applications must be submitted to the City of Espoo Registry Office no later than 21 December 2026 at 15:45, in the manner described in section 5 of the invitation to tender. All applicants must participate in a showing of the site. Showings will be held in weeks 43, 44 and 45. The City of Espoo is looking for a buyer for Villa Rulludd and its outbuildings in Kaitaa through an open two-phase application procedure. The aim is to find a buyer with a feasible business idea for the culturally and historically valuable site. The buildings will not be sold for residential use. In the current detailed plan, the area is designated as a beach area. The buildings marked with ‘sr’ in the detailed plan can be used as recreational facilities.

The buildings will be sold with a leasehold right. The plot cannot be bought.

In the first phase, applicants are asked to submit initial plans for implementing their operating concept. The applicants whose projects are considered feasible will be invited for an interview.

The application period starts on 7 October 2026 and ends on 21 December 2026 at 15:45.
