Recreational activities at Children’s Cultural Centre Aurora

Aurora’s visual arts club introduces its members to the interesting world of visual arts in a variety of ways, both creating and experiencing. 

Mondays:
6-9 yrs at 16:15-17:45
10-14 yrs at 17:45-19:15

The visual arts club teacher is designer Laura Pokela, Master of Arts (Art and Design).

The literary art group plays on literary paths, reads and tells stories, makes up stories and fairy tales, has fun with words.

The club groups get acquainted with the contents, tools, history and present day of electronic and media art by producing their own works. The core elements of teaching are electronic construction, programming, new digital production and creative handicrafts. Our goal is to develop the pupils’ media technology skills and critical media literacy through art education.
