The Lagstad School Museum is located in the old teacher’s residence by the Espoo River, opposite the medieval Church of Espoo.

Traffic connections

The nearest bus stop is Espoon asema. The nearest train station is Espoo.

From the bus stop and railway station, it is about a 10‑minute walk to the museum. Find the most suitable public transport route to the museum via the Journey Planner(external link, opens in a new window).

Parking

Free parking is available next to the museum building.

There are two accessible parking spaces in the parking area.

Drop-off and pick-up traffic may stop in the museum yard in front of the main entrance.

Accessibility

The Lagstad yard area is a flat sand-covered courtyard. Behind the museum building there is a flat lawn. In winter, snow and ice may make moving around the area more difficult.

The School Museum is not fully accessible. A movable ramp is available for the outdoor steps. Some thresholds have ramps, but some doorways are too narrow for electric wheelchairs.

Accessible services in the museum area

There is an accessible toilet in the museum building. There is no induction loop on the premises.
