Service centres for senior citizens

Service centres organise various activities, such as arts and crafts, physical activity, music, expert lectures, courses and events. We also offer diverse peer and well-being groups. We provide guidance and advice on how you can influence your well-being and engage in activities you enjoy. By volunteering at our service centres, you can get involved and make a difference. Volunteers play an important role in our day-to-day activities. Volunteers run different groups, participate in organising joint events and help out in the dining room and at the gym. You can find enjoyable pastimes from the range of activities offered by organisations, associations and other parties operating on our premises. As a rule, activities at service centres are free of charge. Our facilities are accessible. Service centres are a discrimination-free zone; everyone is treated as equals.

Service centres temporarily closed

Espoo’s service centres for senior citizens will remain closed at least until 31 January 2022. The reason for the closure is the worsening coronavirus epidemic.

Service centres will resume their operations when the coronavirus situation so permits. We will inform you as soon as we receive new information on when operations can resume.
