Criminal matters and legal representation of minors

When a minor is suspected of a crime, the child and their family are supported by a social counsellor specialised in legal representation. The counsellor will act as a representative of social services for the child or young person during police interviews and questioning and different stages of the legal process. The counsellor will also address the overall situation of the child or young person with the aim of preventing further crimes in the future.
