The Premises Department public utility is responsible for the property management, cleaning, and lobby and security services that ensure the appropriate condition, functionality, safety and comfort of the premises used by the City.

The Premises Department public utility is responsible for the cleaning and property management of premises used by the City.  The properties maintained and cleaned by it include schools, day care centres, health centres, Espoo Hospital and some of the offices of City employees.

The other services that take part in the maintenance of the premises handle building automation and constructional renovations, cleaning, lobby services and security.

The Premises Department public utility arranges the cleaning and user services for City premises by providing them itself or purchasing them from external parties. The Premises Department also provides cleaning-related expert services in matters related to waste management, project planning and competitive bidding, for example.
