Streets and trafficLeppävaaraThe City of Espoo has started to draw up street and construction plans for Veteraanintie, which will bring the existing street into line with the city plan. A street plan is an administrative plan that gives a street a building permit. The construction of the street will be carried out with a construction plan.

Design
The plan is to convert the existing gravel street into a paved street with kerbs. Drainage will occur through a stormwater drain under the street. The existing street lighting will be replaced and grass will be planted along the edges of the street area. Construction of the street is expected to start as early as the end of 2022.
A presentation of the draft street plan will be given on Monday, 30 May 2022 at 4.00 p.m. The presentation of the draft plan will be posted on the otakantaa.fi website for one week. Comments and questions on the draft can still be made on the website.(external link, opens in a new window)
After the draft phase, the finalised draft street plan will be made available for public consultation during the summer of 2022. The parties concerned will be notified by letter of the presentation in public.
