The amendment to the local detailed plan will facilitate the construction of residential blocks of flats alongside Kalasääksentie (between Kalasääksentie and Rastaalantie). The new blocks of flats have been positioned so that they do not block the neighbouring residents’ views and no closed-off urban canyon is formed on Kalasääksentie. A maintenance building in the area will be demolished. The plan has entered into force in June 7th, 2023,
