A clear and compact centre will be designed for Kera. The industrial and logistics operations are about to be relocated away from the area. In the future, the area will be served by efficient public transport, and it will have a large number of jobs and housing units in blocks of flats. The local detailed plan follows the existing component master plan for Kera and Kera’s district plan.
