Organisation grants

Organisation grants are general grants that support the diverse civic activities of associations and organisations.

Organisation grants are intended for pensioners’, veterans’, illness and disability organisations, as well as other organisations or associations whose activities promote the well-being and health of Espoo residents. Organisation grants are also awarded for non-institutional rehabilitation for veterans.

Organisation grants are particularly intended for

  • activities that promote inclusion and functional ability
  • activities that reduce loneliness and exclusion
  • activities that reduce disparities in well-being and health between population groups
  • activities that increase peer support and volunteering
  • activities that are open to all and operate on a low-threshold principle.

When awarding grants, the organisations’ ability to cooperate with other organisations will be taken into account.
