A person who has had Covid-19 and received three vaccine doses will not need a fourth dose

Espoo follows the guidelines issued by the Finnish Institute for Health and Welfare (THL) concerning the administration of coronavirus vaccines. According to THL guidelines, a person who has received three vaccine doses and has had Covid-19 does not need a fourth vaccine dose, as the infection corresponds to one dose of the vaccine. The interval between the vaccination and coronavirus infection must be long enough, at least six weeks, for the infection to be considered equivalent to one vaccine dose. Therefore, as a rule, we do not vaccinate people who have received 3 vaccine doses and have had Covid-19.
