Espoon keskus vaccination site opens on Tuesday 28 December

The new vaccination site in Espoon keskus will open its doors on Tuesday 28 December. The vaccination site is located at Lakelankatu 1. Once the new site is operating at full capacity, we will be able to administer approximately 11,000 vaccine doses per week there.

Several vaccination sites – take note of your vaccination site when booking your appointment

We have several vaccination sites, some of them are new and temporary. When using the online appointment booking system, you can find all vaccination sites and available appointments by selecting “Espoo”. You will receive directions to the vaccination site together with the confirmation message. Our temporary vaccination sites may only be open for a few days or weeks. As of January, we will mainly give vaccines at our vaccination sites at Iso Omena and in Espoon keskus.

Our aim is to start offering third vaccination appointments to 40–49-year-olds at the end of next week

Approximately 12,500 appointments for the third vaccine dose have been booked each day. We expect that we will be able to open the appointment booking system for 40–49-year-olds at the end of next week. We will give a specific date once we know what the previous age group’s appointment booking situation is and when we are able to offer more appointments, for example, at our new vaccination site.

By 21 December, a total of 31,000 third doses had been administered in Espoo.

The same people who respond to messages are also responsible for organising vaccinations, which means that responding to messages would delay the vaccination process. Before sending us your question, we ask you to first check if you could find an answer on our website at Please also read the linked news on the page.

The next situation report will be published when we have information on new changes.
