Coronavirus vaccinations for 5–11-year-olds

The coronavirus vaccine is now available to all 5–11-year-old children.

You can book an appointment for a child online at link) or by calling our call-back number 09 816 34800 (Mon–Fri 8:00–18:00).

Please note! Information on the amendment to the decree was provided at short notice, which is why the Hospital District of Helsinki and Uusimaa (HUS) has not yet updated the appointment booking system accordingly, but you may book an appointment even though the system only mentions 5–11-year-old children who belong to risk groups.

In Espoo, children are vaccinated by appointment at the Tapiola Health Centre and Espoon keskus vaccination sites and the Iso Omena maternity and child health clinic.

Appointment booking for 40–49-year-olds will open on 28 December 2021

Contrary to previous information, we will be able to open appointment booking for 40–49-year-olds on Tuesday 28 December 2021 before noon. Espoo will continue to follow THL’s recommendation for offering the third dose by age group, from the oldest to the youngest.

By 22 December, just over 33,200 third doses have been administered in Espoo.
