We recommend avoiding visits to Leppävaara Life and Living Centre for Senior Citizens due to coronavirus
Coronavirus infections have been confirmed at the Leppävaara Life and Living Centre for Senior Citizens. The City of Espoo’s infectious disease authority has placed the infected persons in isolation, identified those exposed to the virus and placed them in quarantine.
Persons placed in isolation or quarantine and, if necessary, their families have been contacted. Screening tests will be carried out at the Leppävaara Life and Living Centre for Senior Citizens to detect any asymptomatic infections.
In order to prevent further infections, we recommend that you avoid visiting the Leppävaara Life and Living Centre for Senior Citizens until we have received the results of the screening tests during week 46.
We recommend that family members and friends mainly stay in touch with our residents by phone or through remote communication systems. Meetings can be arranged outdoors, weather permitting. You will need to contact the staff in advance to agree on meeting your loved one outdoors.
You can visit your loved one if they are critically ill or in hospice care. Please contact the staff to arrange a safe visit.
