Library makerspaces
Library makerspace (in Finnish Paja) is a space for learning and making, open for all.
Espoo City Library has makerspaces in the following five libraries: Entresse, Iso Omena, Lippulaiva, Sello and Tapiola libraries. You can find more information about library makerspaces from Helmet website(external link).
You can reserve library makerspace equipment from the Varaamo service(external link). From Varaamo you will also find the technical details of the equipment. You can log in to Varaamo using Yle, Facebook or Google account.
Library staff will instruct you with the use of the makerspace equipment to the best of their ability. Please note that during rush hours you might have to wait, and that the staff does not make projects on behalf of the makerspace user. We also arrange group visits and events during which the use of Library Makerspace by other library users may be limited.
