Recreational activities at Children’s Cultural Centre Aurora
In addition to events, Children’s Cultural Centre Aurora offers diverse arts and culture activities, hobbies and courses both free of charge and paid.
The Children’s Cultural Centre Aurora invites Ukrainian families to creative get-togethers on Wednesdays from 15 February to 19 April between 18:00 and 19:30.
The events will feature arts, crafts and play activities, and a small evening snack will be served. You are warmly welcome!

Aurora’s visual arts club introduces its members to the interesting world of visual arts in a variety of ways, both creating and experiencing.
Mondays:
6-8 yrs at 16:15-17:45
9-11 yrs at 17:45-19:15
The spring season begins on 16.1. and ends on 15.5.. All together 15 meetings per season.
The instructor of the visual arts club is designer Laura Pokela, Master of Arts (Art and Design).

The literary art group plays on literary paths, reads and tells stories, makes up stories and fairy tales, has fun with words. The theme for the 2021–22 school year is “strange creatures and weird animals”.

7–8 yrs at 18.00–19.15

Weekly theatre clubs for children and young people teach the basics of theatre making. The groups will create their own play, which will be performed at the end of the season.

The club groups get acquainted with the contents, tools, history and present day of electronic and media art by producing their own works. The core elements of teaching are electronic construction, programming, new digital production and creative handicrafts. Our goal is to develop the pupils’ media technology skills and critical media literacy through art education.
