The Helmet web library
Helmet.finna.fi or Helmet web library is a joint online service of the City Libraries of Espoo, Helsinki, Kauniainen and Vantaa. You can find all the information you need about the libraries in the Helsinki Metropolitan Area there. You can use the web library both on mobile devices and on a computer.
You can search for books and other materials from all the public libraries in the Helsinki Metropolitan Area in the Helmet web library database. You can easily reserve the material you are interested in from the online library and pick it up from the Helmet library of your choice.
In addition to the library database, the Helmet web library provides contact details, opening hours and information about the different services offered by the libraries. The web library also contains tips from library staff on literature and other material for different age groups, as well as news about Helmet libraries.
By logging in to the web library with your library card number and PIN, you can access your personal information. From the Your Account section, you can see your loans, renew them, reserve material, pay your library fines, update your contact details and create favourite lists. Type of service
A library card with an associated PIN is required to access your personal information. You can obtain the card by showing your ID at the library.
