Glims Farmstead Museum offers much to do in the winter. Peep in to the buildings and the life of the farmers in the 19th century.The exhibition "Scientists on the trails of the domesticated animals" ends on the 26 of February 2023. The exhibition shows new exiting research in the genes of the Finnish horse. You can also get to know more about the other animals that lived on the Finnish farmsteads. How has the life of the animals and people changed?The sledding hill is usable for as long as there is snow. Bring your own sled, or borrow one from the museum. If the weather is warm, you can try to make a snowman.If you get hungry and thirsty while sledding, you can grab salty or sweet snacks at Glims Café.
