Outi Tarkiainen: The Ring of Fire and Love
Alexander Zemlinsky: Chamber Concerto, arranged by Richard Dünser

The Ring of Fire and Love blends geology, astronomy and the birth of a child into a single musical miracle of fire, suffering and love. Zemlinsky wrote his Clarinet Trio op. 3 only three years after Brahms’s similar work. Richard Dünser unleashed the orchestral potential of the music, expanding the score into a late Romantic Chamber Concerto.

Scheduled in the early evening on Fridays, our After Work concerts offer a relaxing start to the weekend.
Each concert lasts about one hour without an interval and includes the conductor talking about the works performed. You are also welcome to enjoy a cup or glass of something at Tapiola Hall. Come as you are!
