Divorce Information Service
The divorce information service (Eron ensiapupiste) offers counselling and advice in divorce and separation situations.
It helps you find answers to questions that your family may face when going through a divorce or when considering divorce and provides advice on how to arrange matters related to your children. The service allows you to talk about your divorce – both the practical issues and the feelings you are experiencing. You do not need to book an appointment to visit the service.
- Our helpline, tel. 046 877 3267, is open on Mondays from 15:00 to 18:00.
- As of 30 May, you can visit the divorce information service on Mondays from 15:00 to 18:00 at the new Family Centre in Espoon keskus (Kamreerintie 6, 1st floor).
The service is intended for everyone affected by divorce: young people, parents, grandparents, and other loved ones. The service also provides support for children. Clients can talk to us about their issues in a peaceful and unhurried atmosphere.
You may also visit the service anonymously and alone, without the other parent. Our goal is to promote amicable relationships and successful co-parenting.
A child welfare officer is also available at the divorce information service.
We can offer you information and advice about different services that may support your relationship. The divorce information service is organised by the City of Espoo’s Family Law Services in cooperation with several organisations, Espoo Parishes, and the Legal Aid Office.
We recommend that you also read about the parenting plan(external link) on the THL website.
