Western Uusimaa Wellbeing Services County is responsible for health and social services as of 1 January 2023

The Western Uusimaa Wellbeing Services County starts operating on 1 January 2023 and will then be responsible for providing health, social and rescue services in Espoo and the rest of the region. The services can be found in the same locations as before. The telephone numbers and email addresses for the services will be changed gradually. You can find up-to-date information on the website of the Western Uusimaa Wellbeing Services County at www.luvn.fi.

The Western Uusimaa Wellbeing Services County was built on a foundation consisting of the health and social services of ten municipalities and the Western Uusimaa Rescue Department. The wellbeing services county will provide health, social and rescue services as well as the services of school psychologists and school social workers for the residents of Espoo, Hanko, Ingå, Karkkila, Kauniainen, Kirkkonummi, Lohja, Raseborg, Siuntio and Vihti. 

From the residents’ perspective, things will largely remain unchanged. Services can still be found in the same locations as before.

At the beginning of the year, there may be temporary delays and disruptions in some services.
