The interested parties always receive an extract from the record of proceedings and decisions or a notification of a decision after a meeting. Appeal instructions are provided together with the extract.

Natural and legal persons resident in a municipality are considered to have been notified of decisions seven days after the record of proceedings and decisions becomes publicly available on the city’s website. A claim for a revised decision must be submitted within 14 days and an appeal against the decision of a municipal authority within 30 days of being informed of the decision.

The City Board is the head of city administration, prepares the items handled in the Council and implements Council decisions in addition to representing the city and supervising its interests.

It has 15 members and each member has a personal deputy member. The Council chooses the members and the deputies for a two-year term of office which begins or ends as the term of council ends.

The City Board meets every other Monday on average. The meetings are not public. The agendas for the meetings are published online primarily the Thursday afternoon preceding the meeting.

The Corporate Group Subcommittee, the Business and Competitiveness Subcommittee and the Premises and Housing Subcommittee operate under the City Board.
